At NovoPsych, we are committed to enhancing the efficiency of clinical workflows. With the introduction of NovoNote AI Scribe, our AI-powered documentation tool, clinicians can generate concise and accurate clinical notes—reducing administrative burden and allowing more time for client care.
As mental health practitioners, seamless integration with practice management software is essential for maintaining accurate records while ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards. To support this, we are actively developing features that will streamline the transfer of AI-generated notes into electronic health record systems.
Upcoming New Features & Roadmap
Browser Extension for Seamless Integration – We are developing a browser extension that will enable effortless integration with practice management software, such as Halaxy. This feature will allow a one-click copy and paste process, making it even easier to transfer your notes.
Future Direct Integration with Halaxy – Our IT team is evaluating the feasibility of a direct integration with Halaxy as part of our 2025 roadmap. We recognise how valuable this would be in improving efficiency and reducing administrative workload.
We will keep our users updated on these upcoming features.
Transferring Notes to Your Practice Management Software
Option 1: Copy & Paste Method
1. Generate your clinical note in NovoNote.
2. Review and edit any details to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Tip: You can make direct edits on your Note, which will automatically save the latest version.
3. Copy the finalised note in your preferred format:
Rich Text (maintains formatting like bold, italics, bullet points, etc.) - Simply select "Copy Note" as shown below:

Plain Text (for a simple, unformatted version) - Select the dropdown arrow and select "Copy as Plain Text" to copy the Note in plain text:
4. Paste it directly into your practice management system’s clinical notes section.
Option 2: File Upload Method
1. Copy and paste your Note (see Option 1 and Steps 1-3 above) into a Word document.
2. Save the document and upload it directly into your practice management system, attaching it to the relevant client records.
If your software supports attachments, this is a great way to keep all documentations organised.
Note: Be sure to check the document formats supported by your practice management software before uploading
