Using NovoNote in Telehealth Sessions

NovoNote captures audio that is played out loud during telehealth sessions (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, Coviu). For the best experience, we recommend avoiding the use of headphones, as compatibility with all headphone models has not yet been fully tested at this stage. Ensuring clear audio capture allows for accurate and reliable documentation, supporting both clinician workflow and client care.

Recommended Setup

  • Use NovoNote on a secondary device (e.g., phone or tablet) while conducting telehealth sessions on your primary device (e.g., laptop).

  • Alternatively, you can pre-record the audio from your telehealth sessions and upload the recording into NovoNote using the "Upload Audio" feature.

Best Practices when Using NovoNote in Telehealth Sessions:

  • Ensure that your microphone settings are correctly configured to capture clear audio.
  • Minimise background / surrounding noise for an optimal experience.
  • Always position your microphone close to the external speaker to ensure all spoken words are captured.

NovoNote is continuously evolving to support the diverse needs of clinicans and mental health professionals. As part of our commitment to enhancing clinical workflows, we are actively refining compatibility with telehealth platforms and external accessories. Future updates will further improve NovoNote's functionality, ensuring that documentation remains seamless, efficient, and clinically useful. At this stage, compatibility with tele-health platforms and external accessories such as headsets is still being tested. We will also be releasing updates from time to time to enhance NovoNote's functionality while ensuring an optimal experience.
