If a client is no longer active or their records are no longer needed, practitioners can delete their data/profile. Please note: deletion is permanent and should be done with care.
At this stage, deleting clients from NovoNote requires deleting them from NovoPsych.
As NovoNote and NovoPsych share a synced client list, removing a client in NovoPsych will also remove them from NovoNote. This ensures that data stays consistent across both platforms.

Deleting a client is a permanent action, which will remove all their associated data, including demographic details, session notes, transcripts, and any psychometric assessment results.
We strongly recommend that practitioners review and double-check whether the client's data is still needed before proceeding. If necessary, ensure that you save a copy for future reference. We’ll soon be introducing the ability to delete clients directly from NovoNote. Once available, this update will be shared with users via the NovoNote Updates section (also accessible via the notification bell next to your profile).
