Re-assigning Sessions/Notes to a Different Client

NovoNote allows you to quickly reassign a session note if it has been linked to the wrong client, helping you maintain organised and compliant client files.


Clinicians typically use this feature when:

  • A session note was accidentally assigned to the wrong client.

  • A duplicate client profile was created, and notes need to be consolidated.


Re-assigning sessions to another Client 


1. Locate the note/session. Open the relevant session from either the Home page (which displays recent sessions) or the Client's profile.




2. Click "Re-assign Session"




3. Select the correct client. Use the Search bar to find a client, or select from your recent clients list.




4. Changes will be saved automatically. The session will now appear under the newly selected client's profile.
