Maximum Duration of Time For Audio Recording
NovoNote allows users to record and store audio sessions seamlessly. However, there is a maximum recording duration to ensure optimal performance and storage efficiency.
Maximum Recording Duration
- The maximum duration for a single audio recording session is 150 minutes (400 MB).
- If a session exceeds the maximum duration, the recording will automatically stop, with the transcripts and notes generated.
What Happens If the Maximum Duration Is Reached?
- Automatic Stop: The recording will stop once the limit is reached. You prompted to assign the session to a client.
- File Processing: The session will be processed and available for review under the client profile.
Best Practices for Managing Long Sessions
1. Plan Your Recording Time
- Keep track of the session duration to avoid unexpected cutoffs.
- Consider breaking long sessions into multiple recordings for better organisation.
2. Use Pausing & Resuming Features
- If needed, use the Pause button to take breaks instead of exceeding the limit.
