Uploading Audio to Generate A Transcription

Uploading an Audio File to NovoNote

Sometimes you may record a session outside NovoNote. If you have pre-recorded audio, it can be easily uploaded to NovoNote to generate a transcript and notes. 



1. Go to the Upload Section

  • Click "Upload Audio" on the main page. 



2. Select a client 

  • Search for an existing client or create a new client profile to assign the session. This ensures the transcript and notes are stored in the right place. 




3. Check the Session Date and Note Template 

  • Select the session date and choose a note template. 

     


4. Upload the File 

  • Click or drag & drop an audio file into the space provided. 


5. Generate Your Notes

  • Click "Generate Note" to start. NovoNote will generate a transcript and notes for you to review


Tip: Currently, the maximum file size for audio uploads on NovoNote is 400MB

Audio not uploading? 
If your file upload isn’t working, please check the file type and make sure it’s in one of the supported formats listed above and under the maximum file size limit (400 MB). 

NovoNote currently supports the following audio formats:
- MP3 (.mp3)
- WAV (.wav)
- OGG (.ogg)
- M4A (.m4a)
- WEBM (.webm), including audio/webm; codecs=opus
